We honor the life and legacy of the late Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr. — a courageous advocate for justice whose voice shaped the moral landscape of our nation. His work touched countless communities, and Nashville was one of them.

Rev. Jackson spent meaningful time in our city, standing with students, churches, and community leaders pressing toward equality and human dignity. His leadership strengthened Nashville’s role in the Civil Rights Movement and inspired generations to keep hope alive.
